Folks, I appreciate I have sought an answer to this on a previous thread but I am really keen to understand where the statement that was previously posted about VAG experiencing substantial sales growth in the UK at the moment came from.
Martin Sweeney posted it so if you could Martin I would be grateful for a response.

You should be very happy, it could be that an order dropped out and you were lucky enough to picked up their build slot. On VW forums current orders are looking at Q1/Q2 2007. When I got a 12-16 week delivery estimate on my Audi, I was given 6 weeks estimate on a 5 series. Do you think that BMW are on the slides?

Martin, everything I read here does not mention the UK sales growth you mentioned - only global figures.
