Using bio diesel in Honda civic 2.2

Using bio diesel in Honda civic 2.2 - Civic C-TDCI

I was running my 2002 passat tdi on 100% pure bio diesel without problem but have just changed it for the new Honda Civic 2.2 diesel. I can't find any information on the internet about using bio diesel in the new Honda engines.

Although I would normally try anything once it's a big risk deliberately putting the wrong fuel in a brand new car.

Does anyone know of any reason why it should be any less suitable for bio fuel?

Any thoughts or comments welcomed.

If it uses a new high pressure common rail engine then you cant use pure bio diesel in it. Check it out with Honda. They will probably say 5% max bio (as sold in Europe and soon here at the pumps)
