I have just read a short review of the Skoda Roomster on 4car.co.uk and they give it rave reviews.
As a family car I have to say it looks great IMO but this will be open to alot of debate.
It is clearly built on a VW floor pan but I think Skoda have been very clever with the design, the quality and the style to mark themselves out in what can be a very boring market segment.
Good luck to em.

Roomster? I thought you were making it up-these names get more daft by the day.Vroomster would be better....

It´s the new Yaris Verso. But cheaper.

The side window layout is decidly odd but testers seem to like it. The instrument panel is presumably a preview of what the next Fabia will have in a year or so - a subtle updating of the current one. AutoExpress reckon it's the first VAG car in a while not to rely on a standard group floorpan but instead has a Skoda-originated one.

The Roomster is no oil painting but it would be if they'd made a better job of the side windows. VW also make a kombi version of the Caddy van, the Caddy Life as well as the Touran which is based on the Caddy but with a different rear body section and lower roof.

Has the Caddy Life ever been marketed in the UK?
A couple of years ago I read about it in one or two places, but have never seen one, and have never managed to find any reference to it on the VW UK website.
