I have finally got my 'free' Streetpilot c320.
Brandnew, sealed box, labelled as preloaded with UK mapping software. 3 CDs included for the rest of Europe. Powered up and it asks me for the SD card which presumably would have the mapping on it. Thge SD card is not plugged into the main unit, and I cannot find it in the box.
Am I going crazy? or is it hidden somewhere so clever that I cannot find it?
I have all the packaging and have not moved or thrown anything away!

Surely I am not the only person seduced by the Citroen offer?
Or am I the only person to have actually received a unit? (6 weeks after purchase).

Don't know about the Garmin but on my old Navman PiN I had to download the maps from the CDs onto an SD card that I bought myself. Are the UK maps in the built in memory of the unit itself? Have you "explored " what is on the memory of the unit?
You could try forums of
www.pocketgpsworld.com/
www.expansys.com/search.asp
www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=SP320_EU
Sorry if this is of no help.

Sorry, seems I am wrong, this is from a review at
www.trustedreviews.com/article.aspx?art=1343
"Garmin supplies a 256MB SD card with the StreetPilot, which contains detailed maps of the UK and Ireland pre-loaded. The supplied CD includes maps for most of Western Europe, so if you did want to go on a European touring holiday, you could just load up the relevant maps."
Sounds like yours is missing

1 Gb CF card is £12 on e bay. Probably cheaper and quicker and to buy one than chase Garmin/Citroen for what should have been in the box!

I have spoken to Garmin UK who have offered to put a card in the post today, they never heard of the problem happening before!
I do qualify for the V8 software upgrade which will be sent once I have registered on line.
For future reference of any other searchers, the c320 can accept upto 2GB standard cards and does not require anything special as high speed versions etc.
I will close the thread once the card has arrived and is working.
