Being a member of Freecycle, I thought that it was worth posting it here, as there may be someone here who lives near Bideford in Devon and may be able to make use of it.

I have no connection with the person who is giving it away.

PEUGEOT 405 GRi 1991 (J Reg)
1905cc engine
Clarion Radio/Cassette, Electric windows all round. Service History,
all old receipts for work done. MOT until 2nd June, no tax (put 6
months on only a couple of weeks ago but will need to claim back as
have just bought a new car which needs to be taxed!). Can't afford to
run 2 cars after buying new vehicle yesterday, and rather than scrap
it I thought it might as well go to a good home. Mechanic thinks it
should go through MOT ok the only thing he was doubtful of is the
handbrake which may need cable adjustment. Also there may be a problem
with the alternator? (can get secondhand one for about 40 quid
apparently) All round good solid car, great workhorse and very
comfortable for both driver and passengers.
