Ok,the Renault and us are about to part company, we have owned it for nearly 4 years, but it is getting long in the tooth and we need something bigger that will carry more kids. As a result we have just agreed to buy a V reg Shuttle, 64k on the clock and it comes with 2yr 10months of a Platinum Warranty Works warranty with it. The car is very clean with a FSH. What would people think is a good price? And does anyone know if the warranty is any good (it has cost us nothing) I will let you all know what I paid for it later ;o)

Good cars, very reliable so warranty unlikely to be needed.

Espada III - well if you have a family and need a Lamborghini, what else do you drive?

What did you pay for it? 2 1/2 years ago I paid £7900 for my 99V with 35K on it, so I guess today they're worth about 3.5 - 4K. It's done about 110K now, still on original exhaust and discs. All I've had fail is the oxygen sensor, though I did replace the blower motor as it sqeeked occasionally.

We are actually paying £4200 for it, which judging by the prices in autotrader is about 1k below forecourt price, so about 500 below private I reckon. Good to hear yours has been reliable, but then the prelude I have with 180k on the clock is still very reliable ;o)

A look at the prices via the link on the left, even country wide whould make me ask why it is so very cheap even allowing for asking prices.

It is a friend who is selling it, they need a different type of vehicle for their current circumstances, but they only bought it in January, hence the warranty, and need to sell it asap - so they were happy for it to go to us as a quick sale. We were not really looking to get a newer car yet, but when a deal like this turns up you can not really turn it down.
