Uni-Directional Tyres - Spare? - Glaikit Wee Scunner {P}
I've kept a bi-directional Michelin Pilot Primacy in my Passat as a spare, as all the tyres I've bought recently have ben uni-directional.
What is the legal situation regarding direction of rotation and what is supplied as an OEM spare with such tyres?

Everything I know with directional tyres has a space saver so no idea. But the TR7 has directionals & a normal spare as does the Porsche.

Don't most Porches have different size front and rear tyres(or am I only talking REAL ones) and a spacesaver-they used to supply a plastic bag to put the removed wheel in as it was too big to go in the boot and had to go on the passenger seat or passenger's lap.

Yup some 944's have different front to back, mine does. Apparently not all have space savers, mine has a 15" steel with a skinny 15" tyre on but 85% profile...... I also have a space saver as well, but it's a different height & I need a diferent boot carpet so haven't installed it yet.
