1994 Honda Accord ABS light

1994 Honda Accord ABS light - JumboSlim
I've got an annoying problem with my '94 Honda Accord 2.0 lsi.
Whenever I start the car first thing or after a reasonable (couple of hours) break, the ABS light goes out immediately, as it should. If I stop the car and turn the ignition off,for a short, few minute period. The ABS light will stay on. If I turn off the ignition (whilst light is out), but only the ignition and not the accessories the light will stay off. This is quite annoying, and very luckily did not occur last week when I had the car M.O.T'd. even when the light is on the brakes work very well and do not lock, even under a real attempt to make them lock.
ANY help or advise would be appreciated.

Check the brake fluid level.Your car may have an Abs system that has 2 brake fluid reservoirs.One on the master cylinder and one on the Abs modulator unit.
