Vauxhall Omega self levelling suspension - Mr. D

1998 2.5 V6 elite - failed the mot with a broken coil spring and leaking shocker. I can cope with the £217 for a pair of shockers but why are the coils £286 for a pair!? Can I fit standard ones?
