Buying Car with V5/2 after Plate Transfe - hatman
I have just purchased a car that had previously been on cherished plates so the only part of the logbook I received is the green new keepers supplement - the V5 C/2 that has been stamped by the DVLA with the original registration number of the car.

I wish to register the car in my name, obtain a new full V5 logbook and I also wish to tax the car as soon as possible. Can you kindly tell me which forms I need to achieve this and whether I can do this at a post office or if I need to visit my nearest VRO. many thanks in advance
