Date of last V5 issue

Date of last V5 issue - L'escargot
I bought my current car on 26 November 2004 and it's not due to be taxed until 31/10/05. Out of curiosity I've just checked the DVLA website www.vehiclelicence.gov.uk and it says "Date of last V5 issue 22/03/2005". What's the significance of this? Should I be worried?

Date of last V5 issue - adverse camber
have you got the old or new style v5 ?

I would give them a ring and check things out,

Earlier this year the DVLA sent out new style V5 forms (V5C I think). So it would suggest you received the new one around that date?

2. they got it right, and did send it.
3. he received it and has misplaced it or forgotten about it.
4. the dog ate it.
5. any other possibility you can think of.

(V5C I think). So it would suggest you received the new
one around that date?


Oh dear, my memory is going! I informed DVLA that our address had changed because we had been allocated a house/street number and as a result we were sent (and we received) a new V5C. Panic over. Sorry guys!
