I collected my VW Golf GTi with DSG gearbox this week. The vehicle was purchased through DSGAuto whose advert I saw originally here on the HJ Website.

Originally, when I was choosing a supplier I found it useful to read other peoples experiences of suppliers so I thought I would post to say that found DSG an excellent to deal with a would recommend them to anyone without reservation.

At the time of ordering in February, none of the VW retailers in my area were offering any discount on the Golf Gti, and they told me I wouldn?t be able to get discount on a UK supplied car anywhere. Suffice to say that I got approximately £1800 discount on the Golf Gti, an amount that essentially paid for the DSG gearbox option.

I received a similar discount on my A3 and this also in effect paid for the DSG (and other options) - let me know how you get on with it - after 5,000 miles of usage I still think it's brilliant!

For clarification the discount was from an Audi main dealer, not the company you mention.
