i have a slight radiator leak on my 98 scenic 1.6 petrol i bought some rad weld but for the life of me i cannot find the radiator screw cap to put this stuff in anybody got any ideas regarding where its located??
many thanks

I imagine you are looking for the pressure cap, which should be on the top of the expansion bottle next to the radiator, not actually on the radiator itself.
|
when i have added radweld in the past i have not put it in via the expansion tank but direct into the radiator itself (all my previous cars have hade screw caps sitting on top of the radiator) but as i said in my last post i cant seem to find it on my scenic

Putting it in via the expansion tank will be fine.
|
thanks for that but out of curiosity does this model have a pressure cap?

Your radiator has done its bit being nearly seven years old.Fit a new one.

Simplicate and add lightness!!

the radiator has no pressure cap, only way to add radweld is via the expansion bottle.
