Warranty period nearly ended

Warranty period nearly ended - AlanFC
MY Picasso 2.0 HDi is now almost at 60K

Any ideas suggestions as to how I should play things to make sure as far as possible that any problems are sorted prior to the warranty expiring?

For example is it a good idea to get it MOT'd? Also..

Would you say that blown dashboard bulbs and creaky seats, gearstick boot are warranty items.

Has anyone had any experience with independent warranty companies and would you recommend/suggest any one in particular?

I would class them as fair wear and tear items, and are not covered by a warranty. Wouldn't hurt to ask them though.

I'd agree it's fair wear and tear.

But it wouldn't do any harm to go to National and have a half-price MOT to see if any somewhat more serious problems show up that would, fairly, be covered by the warranty.
