Hi,

I have recently bought a 1999 Kangoo 1.9 van which has a strange grinding/scraping noise from the front end under the following conditions -
1) When you depress the clutch when slowing up to change gear (the noise continues when you take the car out of gear/or keep the clutch depressed)
2) Lifting your foot from the accelerator
3) It does not happen when you are driving at a constant speed or accelerating.

I have had the discs and pads replaced and the FNS drive shaft which was pretty dodgy in the last week.

The only other symptom is a groan from a front wheel bearing which starts around 30-40mph. Could the previous symptoms be related to this??

Any ideas would be gratefully received.
