Budget ! Whats Small/Medium - The Bear
Anyone know for Road Tax Frozen purposes what the Government classes to be a small or medium sized cars and more importantly if they are exempted what the increase in RFL is for larger vehicles.

Tax bands have changed from AAA to D(?) to A to F. Top two bands (most polluting in terms of CO2) will see tax rise by £5 per year.

Also older cars (pre march 2001) with over 1600cc engine I believe, so a 1997 1.8 Xantia gets hit as a large car

so has tax gone down or up cos i taxed mine the other day cost £160 but the VCA site says i am in band D this is £125 or have i lost the plot , i really am confused now, i have 02 plate avensis 2litre auto cdx saloon. any help with what i should be paying appreciated...cheers...keo.
