Tyre pressures for Vectra SRI - David Nicholls
this might sound like a bit of a pedantic question but i have an SRi 150 - 2.2 engine i cant find in the handbook any reference to tyre pressure for this model. just list 2.0 and 2.5, the supplement isnt much use either. checked on Dunlop, Michelin and Pirelli web sites and they are so out of date its untrue. Dealer just give me the "use the 2.0 it'll be about right" but since roads are a bit crappier now i am getting a bit more wheelspin as well. oh and the tyres are almost brand new

any thoughts from similar owners, or ideas as to where i can get this info????

Try calling the Vauxhall customer service line on:

01582 427200

They are excellent.

Honda helpfully put a small label on the sill of the driver's door with the tyre pressures on it.

Another place to look is on the driver's door below the lock. I seem to remember my old Cavalier had them there.

well you were right. dont know if this is correct but i am told its

32 F, 32 R - UP TO 3 PEOPLE
33 F, 42 R FULLY LOADED

thanks to those who responded

I would actually use the 'fully loaded' pressures for normal driving. I have found it improves handling no end and reduces the tendency of Vauxhall's to understeer...
Re: Tyre pressures for Vectra SRI - Honest John
Pump the rears up to about 36 - 38 when driving one up to help neutralise some of the understeer. (I say "some" because you can never get rid of it with a Vectra.)

Well I have tried this higher tyre pressure thing, and OK the handling IS better, but the amount of grip, OH DEAR!
Re: Tyre pressures for Vectra SRI - Clarkson
Let all the air out - makes a Vectra look better and you wont notice any difference in the handling.
