4x4 Surveys knocking on my door - bartycrouch
Just going to give someone a lift to the doctors and there was a knock at the door. A woman asks if I own the 4x4 in the drive and would I mind answering a survey?

As I said no to the questionnaire and I needed to get out I forgot to ask who and why they are conducting the survey, anyone else had them call?

Over on the Audi A2 forum some people have had 'personalised' surveys on the door step-on the guise Audi were doing a survey.

Not sure Audi would send out people just to hunt down Audi on a driveway and knock on the chance someone would be in. Me thinks they just pick on certain 'brands' or 'sizes' such as all German, all family hatches etc

Or maybe it was a survey into the driving habits of 4x4 owners - i.e. where do you keep the spare key and at what times do you leave the house empty with the car on the drive?

Funnily enough, my mate was on the tv quiz 'fifteen to one' and was knocked out by the question 'what does SUV stand for?'

He said "Sub-Urban Vehicle". We still mock him about it. :-)
