Access to Tech 2 anyone?

Access to Tech 2 anyone? - svpworld
Hi,
Does anyone know of or have access to a Tech 2 GM system? Just fitted a Siemens Navi unit plus new GID display to my Vectra C but both units need to be programmed into the rest of the car.
I am willing to travel if necessary, I live in Cardiff.

Simon,

I was once told that if you disconnect the battery before installing certain things, when you reconnect the battery the ECU detects any additions and switches on the appropriate gubbings accordingly.

Failing that, any reputable dealer should have a Tech2. A lot of garages these days are steering toward servicing any make of vehicle and *should* have the equipment to cope.

As a last option, try a Saab dealer.
