Octavia 99 110 slow to start

Octavia 99 110 slow to start - gttrd
The above car will start fine when it is cold but after it has been running for a while it is slow to start but it will always go
Has anyone any ideas as to what would be causing this
The engine has only about 40 k on it so compression and the likes should be fine

Any help would be appreciated
