Laguna II Gearbox - Galaxian
This follow up to my previous gearbox woes

Last year garage say my gearbox has a fault - bring it in next year, no time left this year ... 'sir'

This year, garage can't find any fault ... 'sir'

Complain to Renault UK - garage has final say ... 'sir' ... you can take it to another garage for a second opinion!

Need to go back to the garage for rattles to be fixed ... 'sir' Renualt UK have discovered some Lagunas have a gearbox problem, can you bring yours in and we'll see if is one of them

It is! So I'll be taking it in tomorrow for two weeks

I guess that this is one of those 'Need to know' type recalls.

Hopefully this time it'll get fixed

which gearbox is it and whats the symptoms? ( I dont have any but just in case I "need to know")

I have a 1.9dCi 120 estate with the six speed box

Problems are changing from 2nd to 3rd is very harsh, especially when it's cold - starting to happen from 1st to 2nd too

I was told of the problem by the MD of the garage I bought it from - when I was discussing how he was going to replace my mother's car which was stolen from his garage while it was in for repairs :-(
