Hi wondering if anybody could help me please I have a fault code 4f81 ratio monitoring clutch A , the car seems to thump in 1st and 2nd gear and sometimes high revs before changing gear I have taken the car to one gearbox repair garage and they are saying it could be a complete gear box repair . I have read a couple of forums and have come across several which suggest it could be a cracked adapter near Mechatronics and to fix this would need a new adapter and sleeve I mentioned this to the garage and was told it won't be this . I have also been slightly put off by the price changes of this garage every time I get it contact . If anyone could help it would be appreciated thankyou
