Hi - just got a 1999 1.3 16V Charade (HCE engine) & need a little help. There is a thin black pipe which comes from a grey, cannister type component low down at the rear, right hand side of the engine compartment. This pipe runs up the air filter housing then just ends. Is it supposed to be connected or is it just a breather? I only ask because the tickover seems quite high - 1500-1700 rpm at first & dropping to 900-950 when warmed up (about 8-10 mins) and there may be a connection. Any help appreciated...
