new driver insurance problem - sprucegoose

Hi, I hope someone can help me. My son in an AA learner driver car was involved in a minor traffic accident, on the way to his driving test, where the instructors car was hit causing damage to the bumper. The car was struck from behind, when the driver failed to stop in time.In spite of this my son passed his test. BUT, I NOW CANNOT GET INSURANCE FOR HIM AT ANY COST, BECAUSE ANY INSURANCE COMPANY I HAVE SPOKEN TO HAVE SAID, THEY WILL NOT QUOTE WHEN THERE IS AN UNRESOLVED CLAIM, AND IT WASNT EVEN MY SONS INSURANCE. Has anyone been in a similar situation and been able to resolve it. Many thanks in advance Jim

(Edit: misleading title changed)

new driver tragedy - oldroverboy.

Do not panic.

My daughter was having lessons with an approved driving instructor and the car was rear ended.

We were using a broker and she said no problem, Happens more often than you think.

So find a decent Insurance broker, preferably with your own insurer.

Daughter decided hoever not to drive any more and gave up.

new driver tragedy - NARU

"Tragedy: An event causing great suffering, destruction, and distress, such as a serious accident, crime, or natural catastrophe. eg.‘a tragedy that killed 95 people’

It's not a tragedy. Your Son made it out in one piece.

No need to shout. Capitals are hard to read.

Try a good broker.
