Nissan Almera - Nissan Almera 2.2 Turbo Diesel 2000 Remote Locking - kryan69

I've just bought a nissan almera 2.2 td 2000 model and it comes with what looks like the spare key did this model have remote central locking feature and if so is there anyway of telling which one seen different fobs on ebay and have read how to reprogram them. Any information would be extremely grateful prefer remote locking saves the paintwork when trying to unlock the car in the dark

Does it really matter if a 15 year old car gets a few scratches.

What really matters is does the car work OK. If it does leave well alone.

Just be careful with the keys.

For the record my dads Almera SRi did not have remote central locking.

If the car did not have keyless remote locking from the factory,it would probably be cheaper to buy an aftermarket keyless entry kit which would come with 2 remotes and have that fitted up to the cdl system
