mondeo mark 3 2.0 ghia x 2002 model - front suspension strut upper mount - paul_pompey

I recently had the garage replace a broken front spring now it seems the upper mount has gone too. Is it easy to replace this myself ?

Any step by step guides would be helpful !

Or is it best left for a garage to do ?

unless you have spring compressors then i'd leave it to the garage, why didn't they replace the top mount at the same time?

I can't remember the last time I replaced a top strut mount on a Mondeo, which is a reasonable indication that they don't normally wear out, Not saying this isn't the case...but...Bit of a coincidence that you've just had the whole thing apart to replace a spring, and now it needs changing...
