Q1 for Best Deals? - Chris1011

Just got off the phone to broadspeed who seemed very honest and helpful.

He said the price they have quoted me for my Octavia Elegance 1.4 TSD with 2k worth of options would be £21k however if I wanted to purchase this car on the current 0% PCP deal, it would put the price up around £1400 as the dealers wouldn’t have that much more room for margins.

He advised me that if it was defo the 0% PCP I was after, then to purchase from the dealers directly.

He also advised that if it was this was definitely the car I wanted, to make an order by the end of this week as the first quarter of the year the dealers have better deals and margins to play with and he very much doubts that in April the same offers will stand (he believes with his 25+ years worth of experience that the price will increase by 1k in April for the same deals).

Lastly he advised that I would need to put an order by the end of this week if I wanted to make sure the deal got accepted as it takes 4 days from the factory order being received and contract accepted...

Can someone confirm how true all this is please?

How is it a trick? As they have asked me to directly go to the dealers, so where would they gain any benefit?

I'd like to agree with Skidpan re Carfile. I've bought 2 cars through them and was pleased with the easy way it went.

Carfile put you in touch with the main dealer with the quoted price and you deal with and pay them.
