Suzuki Splash - Steerring problem

Suzuki Splash - Steerring problem - Kimberley

The steering doesn't self centre very well and isn't light. Dealer has replaced ball joint and checked geometry and has now decided that this is typical of the model. Would changing the tyres help, if so what would you suggest?

Has it always been like this. If not there is a problem.

If its always been like this drive another similar car. If its the same its typical, if its not your car has a problem.

But has it always been like that since you had the car? Have you tried another Suszuki Splash?

I haven't had the oportunity yet to try another Splash. I have read numerous road test articles and none of them have referred to anything other than a light responsive steering.

I have only just aquired this car and failed to pick up the quirk in the steering during a test drive. The dealer is saying that it is typical which just doesn't seem right to me.
