2006 range rover vogue - itermittent starting - tiger997

can anyone help i get in the car ,put the key in and turn on , all the lights come on but it wont start, just a faint buzzing sound from left hand side, leave for an hour try again and it starts fine, next day the same thing, and the day after ,its driving me nuts, the garage has no idea, because when they have the car it dosent happen !!! HELP

This is not a fault as such. It's a feature deeply embedded in the heritage of all Land Rover products.
