Volkswagen Polo - 2000 VW Polo Help Needed Please - loganjack

Hi All, I have a Volkswagen Polo 2000 and this morning as I was driving, the power just died and the car would not start but I left it for a while and when I tried to start it again the engin turns over but it doesnt start but its as if there is a backfire but from the engine compartment. Can anyone help?.

Not much to work on here.I think you need more investigation.A backfire noise could indicate a broken cambelt.Get it checked.

Hi again, I forgot to say that one of the brake light bulbs was blown and I replaced it but the EPC light still came on
