Peugeot 308 - Seat belt pretentioner - dazsaw
Hi I have a 2008 peugeot 308 1.6 hdi it was involed in a light crash with set the seat belts off , I have new ones but need to know if I can just fit them or will any other parts need changing aswell many thanks

changing the pretensioners shouldn't present any challenges, but once it's all connected up some vehicles will simply work others need their ecu reset. Ask a dealer if no one here knows.

Thanks for the reply was just hoping that the new ones don't go off as soon as they are plugged in asked the dealer and all they said was for safety reasons they say change everything for new

So they will go off if I fit new ones? The car is a write off but I got to repair myself

The ECU can be removed and have the crash data reset. There are companies that advertise their services on Ebay, usual cost is £25 - £30.
