Won't these be where the rear damper meets the wheel arch to beef up the top mounting?

I would assume the tester is referring to the surface which a lump of rubber hits if the damper fails, or if the car is excessively loaded. Take a rear wheel off and examine the trailing arm which holds the brake drum - there should be an obvious bump rubber on the bodywork directly above a flat part of the arm. On the 205 this is part of the arm casting and pretty solid - maybe the 206 arm is a pressing?
