Zafira - Replacement remote for key - Mumstheword

Hello. I've had quotes from main dealers for a new remote, which are quite expensive!

Before I buy, is there a cheaper way of replacing them?

Neither work. The car can only be opened with the key (so the alarm goes off)

we've tried putting it in the ignition and pressing the button to reset it.
