Audi - getting driving history from computer - spagettijunction

I'm in dispute police !!

is it possible to plug the car into a garage computer gizzmo and verify if the car was/was not driven at a certain time -- eg can I prove the car was NOT being driven last monday at 4pm ??

Are they capable of that ?

I managed to escape a speeding ticket because they mis-stated the time - and I had a witness to being asleep in my armchair at the time stated.

If this is a S172 issue to name the "driver" you can word your response carefully to emphasise that no-one was driving the car at the alleged time but that having been the last driver previously and the next driver, that you are the person "in charge" of the car at the alleged time.

You may well end up in a prolonged correspondence!

Too late for you for this case, but fitting a Roadhawk or equivalent dashcam will record time, date, speed and geographic location. This might help support a defence (but will also record any speeding or other misdemeanours)
