My other half started his micra tonight to go to work, felt the battery maybe a bit lazy but it started ok - he drove about 100 yards and it cut out. Struggled to re-start it and then the engine light came on.
He stopped engine to see whether the engine light would reset but then it wouldn't restart as battery had flattened.
We managed to jump-start it from mine and the engine light stayed on so we think the flat battery is really only a secondary issue.
I've seen a few posts relating to throttle bodies and timing chains but they don't really seem to fit with this so I wondered if anyone had any thoughts?
Thanks in advance
