Citroen Xsara Picasso - fitting com2000 unit to citroen xsara picasso 2003 - kennymcd

I am fitting a new com2000 unit with complete steering stalk to my citroen picasso. Can anyone tell me if it will require programming into the vehicles computer by the dealer or is it a 'plug and play' unit. Thanks

It will only need programming to the car if the car is fitted with Esp/stabilty control,as the comm 2000 unit incorporates the steering angle sensor.hth

There will be a warning light in the dash panel when ignition is first switched on.Also a switch on the dash marked Esp/TC /Dsc or similar so that it can be switched off.
