Landrover freelander 2000 petrol model - belt or chain? - strickjumpers

Hello, looking at the purchase of above, can anyone tell me if it's a timing belt or chain on this car please. Any other buying pionters welcome, cheers , mike.

Unless you are a bit of a gambler with deep pockets I would leave well alone these have the infamous engine that eats head gasgets amongst other things.,
