Peugeot 307 - 307 front wiper arms catching / lifting the bonnet - adam f

Hi all,

Car is a 2002 2.0 hdi 5 door 307.

Have a problem with the front wiper arms catching on the bonnett and lifting it slightly as they sweep.

The black paint on the wipers arms is wearing away and also the bonnet is being worn away too.

Has anyone had this or know of an issue with this?

Does anyone know of a fix?

I suggest you check if the wiper motor etc has either moved from its bolted position or become loose as this could affect the clearance of the wipers with the bonnet. It is also possible (but unlikely) that the bonnet may have been incorrectly repositioned.
