Any - Source of warning gong / chime unit ? - dimdip

Hullo all, wondering if anyone could help with this:

I'm trying to source a unit for producing a pleasant gong or chime sound. As you will know, many cars have these for door-open and seatbelt reminders etc. I'm guessing these things are like relays that fit in the fusebox?

Trouble is, I haven't managed to find one sold in the UK. Google searches bring up vendors in the 'States, but none here. Perhaps I've been using the wrong search terms.

If anyone can identify a part number/description for a particular vehicle, or a seller of a generic one, that would be much appreciated. A 24 Vdc one would be even better since that is the available supply.

Thanks

RS components is the place for anything electronic in the uk. Their website is rswww.com (not a typo.)

Thanks for the link, Oli rag, appreciated. The trouble I find with the component suppliers is that the sounders are either horrible buzzers, or one's that you need to add a tone-generator to to make the sound.

So I was thinking with so many cars now having nice chime sounds for various functions, there might be a self-contained module that could be bought off the shelf? I'd guess it is integrated into the dash in newer cars but perhaps older models? Any parts department staff in the house?

Thanks folks, I'll have a scout of those component vendors and if no joy, visit a dealership parts dept in person...
