Hi,
I bought an engine but as delivered no injection pump, can I use the injection pump on my old one? I was asked by the mechanic that he will check if it needs decoding. I want help for those who knew about this. Thanks

Moved to Technical, although I imagine that anyone answering this would need more information about the age of the engines.

You can use the old pump,which is the easiest option,with no coding required..But you need to make sure it fits the bracket on the engine block as there are a few variations.
