Ford Focus Estate - 2015 Focus TPMS Issue - Craggyislander

Hi folks

We picked up a used Focus Estate 1.5 diesel last month and within the first week it began flashing up messages on the dash saying "Tyre sensors not detected check handbook". The TPMS light flashes then stays on.

This is now coming up more and more frequently. Any ideas what it could be? The car is a year old in March and has done 14k miles.

I will book it into Ford (as suggested by the handbook) but any help in the meantime would be appreciated, have stored the tyre pressures several times using the on screen options.

Thanks

Ford had a look yesterday (gave me a 15 plate Fiesta as a courtesy car with 3 miles to empty worth of fuel in it....) and said they checked all tyre pressures and reset the TPMS via the IDS system.

Will see how it goes - thanks for the responses.
