How can I solve the problem of alloy wheels cracking on my 2010 BMW Z4?

I am suffering (like so many others it would seem ) from wheel cracking /fracturing on inner rims of BMW 326M 19-inch staggered fit alloys on a 2010 BMW Z4 2.5 (2.3). I gather this is a common problem...
