Which family car features three rows of seats and has enough boot space for a dog?

We are a family of five with three children aged seven, six and four. We are also about to add a medium-sized dog into our family. We currently drive a 2002 Skoda Octavia Estate (1.8 turbo 4x4) which has 105,000 miles on the clock. However, room in the back seats is not great and the children fight whenever we go out. We're therefore looking for something bigger, which splits the seats into three rows. It also needs to have a big enough boot for family camping trips, and the dog. I've not managed to find much suitable, as most seven-seaters lose the boot space as soon as you get the extra seats up. I've looked at things like the Volkswagen Caravelle but it's essentially a van, so i'm not convinced! Surely i'm not the only person with this sort or requirement? What should I be buying?
