Which MPV to replace my Ford Galaxy for £3000?

I'm looking to buy a cheap 7-seater as my current Ford Galaxy has just gave up. I between £2000-£3000 to spend. I do a lot of town driving so I am guessing a diesel would be more economical. I'm wanting to find the best fuel economy in a 7-seater, I'm not bothered about all the extras - just cheap driving.

It's down to what you can find for your very low budget. Probably another Galaxy TDI 90. They, and Alhambras and Sharans, are the most common 7-seat MPVs.
