What's squeaking at the rear of my Citroen C5?

I have a 56-plate Citroen C5 2.2 diesel. A very annoying squeak has developed from the rear of the car. There is also a clunking / grating sound when cornering, but the squeak is ever-present. The car can be raised and lowered using the suspension settings. Any ideas what the problem may be?

A failed bush in the rear suspension somewhere. The spheres seem to be okay from your test.
