My MOT certificate lists the wrong car model - should I get this changed?

I have just checked the MOT certificate that came with my secondhand Hyundai Santa Fe, and on the model it says 'Sonata' not Santa Fe - does this matter at all?

Yes, this needs to be changed. A current MoT certificate can be changed on the system, but a mistake on a certificate that is no longer current cannot be changed. For example, a mileage error of 80,000 instead of 8000 can be changed in the central records for a current certificate, but cannot be changed for a past certificate. Ridiculous, but true.
