Is the idle speed on my Vauxhall Vectra set too low?

i recently bought a 98 plate 2.5 Vauxhall Vectra but it runs really rough on idle and I think the idle speed is too low. Can anyone help with a diagnosis?

You have done it yourself. If the idle speed is too low, it will run very roughly.
