Which Nissan 350Z model is the best?

I am finally in a position to indulge in a two-seat sports car and would welcome your advise regarding the best Nissan 350Z version to buy. I could get a high mileage (50,000) 2008 GT version for about £14,500 or a 2006 model with the same mileage for about £13,500. The 2006 model has the 300bhp engine and the 2008 has the 310bhp engine. Having read your reviews I'm not sure which is the best buy, as you didn't seem to like the 310bhp engine. I had originally budgeted £15,000 for the car and want to make sure I make the right choice.

The best, most enjoyable engine was the shorter stroke 300PS, not the later long stroke one with 310PS. The 300PS also had nicer paint colours such as Sunset Orange, whereas that was replaced for the 310 with the seriously nasty Tango Orange.
