What relatively small, wheelchair accessible vehicle could I get for £10,000?

My father-in-law recently returned home after nine months in hospital following a spinal cord injury. He's now wheelchair bound and needs a wheelchair accessible vehicle. The vehicle needs to be as small as possible (my 68 year old mother-in-law would be frightened of driving anything much bigger than a super-mini). Budget will be around £10,000 for a good used vehicle. Any recommendations please?

If you mean something into which a wheelchair can be driven, they don't come smaller than Citroen Berlingo size. I haven't seen anything as small as a Nemo with a wheelchair ramp. Alternatively, if you mean a car where he will sit in the passenger seat with the wheelchair loaded separately, then the best choice is a Honda Jazz that has fold up rear seats so the wheelchair can be stores in the centre of the car.
