Should a warning be added to the owner's handbook for Volkswagen DSG automatics?

My Volkswagen Golf Plus SE model 105 DSG lurches on gradients when I try to reverse park it. I took the car to the dealer to get them to check out the transmission. The garage stated that there was nothing wrong. The advice given was as I was used to driving an automatic car, and this is not an automatic, I would get used to it and adapt my driving style. The Service Advisor explained that with the DSG transmission, I would not experience the sponge/damping pick-up while manoeuvring at slow speeds that I would have been used to with my auto box, the DSG being a more direct drive.

I said that the comprehensive explanation given by Volkswagen mechanics and the service advisor to me should be in the driver's handbook which accompanies this model, as it fails to adequately warn against an inherent danger with the car. Would the Small Claims Court help me in prompting Volkswagen to add a warning to their handbook?

The answer is to control the car while manoeuvring by left-foot braking. That is the only way to remain fully in control of an auto or a DSG in tight spaces.
